Spinn Coffee Maker:The reason this site exists to help make other customers aware of the delays with the Spinn 2 and to help make the team at Spinn be a little more transparent with timelines, even if smaller more frequent updates. The original Spinn makes great espresso, and I just want my Spinn 2! :-)Once this coffee maker actually ships (I really hope sooner than later), Maybe I'll make this site a forum for customers.

April 22: Update from Spinn Support:
Thank you for reaching out, and I deeply appreciate your patience, loyalty, and support as a long-time member of the Spinn community. I can certainly understand the frustration you're feeling, especially given your past involvement and the significant wait you've endured.
First and foremost, I want to apologize for the lack of consistent and transparent communication. I understand how unsettling it must be to receive generic updates and no clear timeline, particularly after being such a dedicated early supporter.
Regarding the Spinn 2 timeline, while we're still targeting end of Q2 for Batch 1 shipments, it is possible that unforeseen delays could push this further. Tariffs and logistical challenges have impacted our production process, and we're working diligently to resolve these issues as quickly as possible. We acknowledge that this timeline has shifted multiple times, and we can certainly understand how this can be frustrating.
In response to your request for realistic information, we're doing everything we can to ensure that communication becomes more transparent moving forward. We will provide a more specific, revised timeline in our next update, which will be shared within the next two weeks. We want to ensure that you and all of our early supporters have the most accurate information possible to manage your expectations.
We value your continued support and loyalty, and I personally assure you that your pre-order is important to us. Your funds are secure, and we are committed to delivering Spinn 2 as soon as possible.
Thank you again for your patience, and we'll be in touch soon with more detailed information.
April 16: Update from Spinn Support:Thank you for checking in on your pre-order.We have an important update regarding your Spinn S2 pre-order, and the broader global situation that may affect its final pricing and delivery timeline. As always, our priority is to keep you informed with full transparency, especially when external factors beyond our control come into play.Over the past few weeks, the U.S. government has announced a new wave of tariff increases on internationally manufactured goods, including categories that directly impact the components and materials used in the Spinn S2. These policy changes are part of an evolving international trade landscape and have created a new layer of uncertainty for companies like ours that manufacture high-precision hardware abroad. At this point, we want to be honest:
We’re still working through what these changes mean, both for our production costs and potentially for our pre-order customers. While we are doing everything we can to protect the current pricing and honor your original order, it’s possible that these tariffs could affect our cost structure in a way that may necessitate changes. What we can promise is this:- We will exhaust every option to shield our earliest and most loyal customers from additional charges.-We’ll only make adjustments if absolutely necessary, and only after clear, direct communication.- You’ll always be informed first, and we’ll give you options. We understand how frustrating this uncertainty can be. You've placed your trust in Spinn, and we don’t take that lightly. In parallel, we want to reassure you that our engineering and production teams continue working full-speed toward delivering the Spinn S2. The product is coming together beautifully, more refined, more powerful, and more intuitive than any Spinn before it.While the situation isn’t ideal, we believe in transparency over Spinn.
We’re a startup, not a conglomerate and sometimes that means navigating global turbulence while staying true to the community that got us here.We are still pushing for Q2 shipments. We’ll be back in touch with more detailed information as soon as we know more. If you have questions in the meantime, our team is ready and happy to help. With deep gratitude for your trust and support,
Spinn Team

April 11 on Reddit via user cbthomas927:Hi —,Thank you for reaching out—and more importantly, for your honesty. I completely understand your concerns, and I want to take a moment to address each of them directly and transparently.First and foremost, I want to sincerely apologize for the lack of communication and the frustrations you’ve experienced. You’re right to expect more clarity and consistency, especially as a returning customer who’s put their trust in us again.Instagram and Communication Gaps: You’re absolutely correct—the @spinn2updates channel has been quiet for longer than it should be. That’s on us. We’re in the process of finalizing a meaningful update, and while that’s not an excuse for the delay, we want to ensure that when we do share something, it’s substantial and informative—not filler. That said, we recognize the importance of more consistent updates and will resume posting on a more regular cadence going forward.Repair and Support Delays: We’ve seen a noticeable uptick in support and repair requests over the past few months, and our response times have unfortunately been impacted. We’re actively working on scaling up our service team to reduce wait times and improve the overall experience. We understand how critical timely service is—especially for those who’ve had issues in the past.Pre-Order Guarantees and Refunds: We recognize that this is not a crowdfunding campaign, and you deserve transparency and accountability. If for any reason we’re unable to fulfill a pre-order, customers will be eligible for a full refund. We stand behind that commitment, and we’re continuing to invest in delivering Spinn 2 to our pre-order customers as promised. At this time, Spinn remains fully operational, and production is progressing—albeit slower than we originally anticipated. We understand how much this all weighs on your decision to continue your pre-order. If you’d prefer to cancel, we will of course honor that—no questions asked. But if you’re willing to give us a little more time, we’re confident we can deliver an experience that restores your trust. Please let me know how you’d like to proceed, and again, thank you for your patience and candid feedback. It’s customers like you who push us to be better—and we don’t take that for granted.Warm Regards, Spinn Management Team
